The statistics speak for themselves: according to Skillwork, for every five skilled trades workers retiring, only two are ready to replace them. This gap highlights the urgent need for more trained professionals in our industry. Majestic Plumbing & Electric is committed to addressing this challenge head-on by mentoring and preparing students for careers in the trades.
The Importance of After-School Programs
Athletic and fine arts after-school programs play a crucial role in raising the next generation of America's economic workforce. These programs instill resilience, work ethic, teamwork, creativity, and physical fitness—qualities that are essential for a thriving society. The new app will simplify the process for coaches, volunteers, parents, and students by consolidating all their information into one easy platform, providing pertinent updates on practices and events.
Our connection to Marietta runs deep. We have been proud sponsors of the Blue Devils for years, and this new level of involvement is a natural extension of our ongoing support. Our staff has already been collaborating with the College and Careers Construction Pathway, helping students prepare for the upcoming Skills USA competition in October. We look forward to continuing our mentorship throughout the 2024-2025 school year.
Majestic Plumbing & Electric has been working closely with the Marietta City Schools College & Career Academy to not only prepare students for competitions but to provide them with real-world skills and experiences. By engaging with students in hands-on learning, we are helping them build a solid foundation for their future careers in the trades.
